Leadership team

Stewart has more than 30 years’ experience working in the global energy sector many of which have been in executive leadership roles. He joined FairWind as our CEO in August 2023 with a remit to provide leadership and direction in support of our structured, targeted and controlled growth aspirations. Before joining FairWind, he spent 10 years as CEO at specialist engineering, inspection, operations, and maintenance company Sparrows Group, leading the business through its acquisition by Altrad Group. Starting his career as an offshore field engineer with McDermott international, Stewart held numerous project management and leadership roles in the company before progressing to senior vice president of the Middle East, India, Caspian and Americas regions. Stewart is a Chartered Engineer, holds a degree in mechanical engineering and is a member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology. He has also completed the Executive Directors Program at the Kellogg School of Management - Northwestern University, and the Executive Management Program at Thunderbird School of Management.

Chief Executive Officer

Joining the FairWind leadership team in July 2022 as the COO for the Onshore and offshore installation business, Rasmus oversees the global operations with our four regional directors reporting to him. He was brought into FairWind to define and drive the organisational and operational transformation of the business in order to meet the future growth and market expectations. Before coming to FairWind, Rasmus spent 14 years in the wind industry holding various international leadership positions in different levels of the value chain. Most recently he was COO of ENABL, an international company providing engineering solutions to OEMS, where his focus was to prepare the operation for organic growth and through M&A. Rasmus has a business administration background. He started his career with Siemens Gamesa and during his 10 years there went through PM, strategy and leadership programmes.

Chief Operations Officer – Installation

Having joined FairWind as Chief Financial Officer in 2023, Sisse is responsible for all aspects of the financial operations of the business as well as legal, compliance, and IT functions. She has held senior finance positions for businesses across the industrial and offshore wind sectors for more than 15 years – most recently for ESVAGT A/S. During her career, Sisse has delivered significant M&A and restructuring activity and is experienced in leading businesses through IPO, as well as strategic development, corporate governance, new investments, and business digitisation. Sisse is also a board member at Ronne Harbour, and she holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing, and Executive Board Education diploma, both from Copenhagen Business School

Peter has been with FairWind since 2019, having joined as Global Head of Service before moving into his current role as Chief Operating Officer – Service in 2023 where he is focussed on the strategy and delivery of our service lines. Joining FairWind from Siemens Gamesa, Peter’s 30-year career has taken him all around the world. He is an experienced board director and has held a variety of leadership roles across the shipping, ports and renewable energy sectors in Europe, Asia and Africa. Peter holds an MBA in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, UK.

Chief Operations Officer – Service

Laura joined FairWind as Chief People Officer in September 2023, bringing leadership in Human Resources and organisational strategy. She also oversees the company’s marketing and communications function. With over a decade of HR leadership experience in the energy sector, Laura previously held several key positions at Sparrows Group, where she was most recently part of the executive leadership team as Group Human Resources Director. Based in Aberdeen, Laura is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and holds a diploma in Human Resource management. She also has an MA in Politics and Sociology from the University of Aberdeen.

Providing support and advice to the leadership team and the wider business on HSEQ matters, Peter Guild is the FairWind Global HSEQ Director. An experienced senior level HSEQ professional, Peter has a strong operational background and successful track record in energy, marine and construction activities. Throughout his career, he has delivered transformative safety leadership and supporting management that has created effective strategic and sustainable change in organisational HSEQ culture and performance. Peter brings people together with a leadership style that adapts, connects and engages. Prior to joining FairWind, Peter was Group Head of HSEQ at ASCO and responsible for overseeing the corporate HSEQ excellence strategy. Before that, he was the UK HSE Manager at Subsea7 and responsible for leading the delivery of transformational safety training programmes. Peter is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Our dedicated technical teams deliver a full-scope of services – from engineering of installation concepts, pre-assembly, and inspections to preventive maintenance routines, corrective maintenance and troubleshooting. And with specialist teams in blades and electrical and high voltage, we can keep your assets working safely throughout their lifecycle.

Company history

FairWind was founded back in 2008. At that time, the company consisted of just eight people and one project.

Today, FairWind has over 2200 technicians and staff, and subsidiaries and offices in Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, Australia, and South America. International presence and expansion are deeply anchored in our culture.
